Kelley (she/her) is a microbiologist fascinated by the remarkable molecular diversity found in bacteria. Kelley earned her Ph.D. from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego, after which she conducted postdoctoral research in the John Innes Centre in Norwich, United Kingdom, followed by the Université de Montréal in Canada. Outside of the lab she enjoys playing the flute, curling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new cities whenever possible.
