Hana (she/her) is a PhD student in Microbiology. Born and raised in Iran, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Shiraz University, and continued her higher education at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, where she completed her master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. She also has 5 years of experience working with diabetic patients as a nutritionist in Taleghani Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Center. Being fascinated by the world of bacteria and keen to explore their physiology, she joined the Department of Microbiology. When not in the lab, she enjoys hiking, working out, spending time with friends and family, knitting, watching movies, and reading books.
